The horrors of war

Kosewitsch, Mirjam R.

The work expresses several aspects of the horrors of war; from the second-hand-experience via TV which most people only have and which does not, to my mind, allow them to say anything, to the fact, that misinformation (“embedded journalism”) or no information playes it's part in making the horrors of war possible by giving no or no reliable grounds for public opposition and resistance; furthermore investigative journalism is muted for propaganda reasons – in short, the death of information can be seen as a collateral damage and precondition for war and it's horrors.

Thoughts about the DIGIMURAL “THE HORROR OF WAR”:

If the mainstream media don't show the true horrors of war, then everybody should do it in his/her own way; public awareness (in mind + heart) is (as Vietnam has shown) often enough the beginning of the end of the horrors of war.

At least one hopes so.
