Maintain the mission, the goals and the layout (banners, logo and other settled promotional design) established for the FocFest and sustained by the Artists for Peace.

Obvious solidarity principle between promoters that include: communication of the development efforts taken place by each local team to other members of the FocFest organization (update feedback by the Focfest@gmail.com or
artistsnpeace@gmail.com);

The Festival will have two types of screening exhibitions: open (by submission) and special (special guest's artists invited by the local organizers and it can go up to 5 videos);

Every local organization can select up to ten movies from an open call that shouldn't exceed 10 minutes. High Quality streaming standard should be taken in consideration for later live screening;

If the open call does not fit the number of works needed to establish a screening list the invitation can be extended until it reaches 10 movies;

The movies selected by all local teams will establish the screening programme that will run simultaneously in every spot (same movies for all places): because of that every local team have to provide a DVD-copy of there selected material and send it to other countries or places involved;

The other basic standards are already settled in the mission and goals information provide at the FocFest page in Artists for Peace site (www.artistsnpeace.org/focfest.htm) and Artists for Peace forum at Artmesh community;

The promotion of offensive messages, artworks and propaganda against freewill, freedom of choice or the defense of partial political, religious or other kind of social positions are not acceptable;

Final screening dates should be settled in May after all local events are confirmed (upon the number of the material and the total time of the screening its possible that the event will take place in more than one day);

Beside the need to follow the common standards local teams have full autonomy to manage the local event the most suitable manner possible as they think is the best: sponsorship, partnership, state or other kind of support,
screening spaces, programme settling; entrance facilities or fees (even so the FocFest recommend free entrance for everyone to the screening event);

It is recommended that local organizers provide an regular address to facilitate the mailing and the reception of works to the ones have difficulty in sending by ftp-internet (an easy contact way like e-mail also helps);

Local teams should provide a suitable space for screening the event and they are free to manage a regular exhibition-screening room or an installation display
room (to those materials more suitable to these sorts of screening environments: ex. video-loops or experimental works);

Local teams are free and encouraged for organizing all kind of support activities to the main event (meeting, forum, debates, shows, music, party, etc.);

The local FocFest events should promote also the FocFest in his global dimension (promoting what is happening in other places: mentioning the mission and goals statement, countries involved and artists for peace and other
partners in this effort).
